Robot Highlights

The IRB 1600 is a compact 6-axis industrial robot suitable for arc welding, machine tending, material handling, cutting, dispensing, assembly, palletizing, packaging, measuring, die casting, injection moulding and the handling of small parts up to 10 kg.

Up to 50% shorter cycle times in material handling, machine tending and process applications, thanks to ABB’s patented second-generation QuickMove motion control combined with strong motors and low-friction spur gears.

QuickMove and TrueMove eliminate unnecessary moves, reducing power consumption to 0.58 kW at maximum speed and even less at lower speeds. The airborne noise level remains below 70 dB(A), supporting a healthier sound environment for operators.
