Welding processes & power sources

ABB welding robots integrate with all mainstream welding equipment. We supply and configure cells for:

• MIG/MAG — the most common; paired with Fronius, Lincoln Electric, ESAB, Miller or SKS power sources.
• TIG — for thin materials, stainless and aluminium where appearance and precision matter.
• Laser welding — for high speed and low distortion on suitable parts.

Cells are completed with ABB IRBP positioners (single-axis, twin, tilt/rotate, sky-hook), external track axes, torch cleaning, seam tracking and a CE-compliant safety enclosure — engineered around your parts and production volume.
