Which FANUC controller should you look for?

R-30iA

2007–2013 era and still common used. Proven and cost-effective; good for a first cell or like-for-like replacement. Check teach pendant and I/O options.

R-30iB — recommended

2013 onward and the mainstream for refurbished FANUC. iRVision, touch sensing, weld packages and excellent spare-part availability — the best all-round balance.

R-30iB Plus

Latest generation. Higher performance, newer software and interfaces, but less common and more expensive on the used market.

Welding processes & power sources

FANUC welding robots integrate with all mainstream equipment. We supply and configure cells for:

MIG/MAG — the most common; paired with Fronius, Lincoln Electric, Miller, ESAB or SKS power sources.
TIG — for thin materials, stainless and aluminium.
Laser welding — for high speed and low distortion on suitable parts.

Cells are completed with servo positioners (single-axis, twin, tilt/rotate, sky-hook), external track axes, torch cleaning, seam tracking and touch sensing, and a CE-compliant safety enclosure — engineered around your parts and production volume.
