This twin-station Sky Hook welding cell from our Bilbao stock combines a Yaskawa Motoman HP20D arm with a double-end L-shape tilting positioner (R2L 500/1200) and a Fronius TPS4000 MIG/MAG power source. Designed for production shops that need continuous arc time: while the robot welds one side, the operator loads the other.

Robot — Yaskawa Motoman HP20D

Compact 6-axis arm with a thin base and slim arm profile that places the tool close to the workpiece for excellent access in confined fixtures. 20 kg payload, 1,717 mm horizontal reach, ±0.06 mm repeatability, high speed and acceleration that drive cycle-time savings on long welds.

Controller — Yaskawa NX100

The NX100 is Yaskawa’s PC-based high-performance robot controller with a Windows CE programming pendant and full-color touch-screen LCD. It supports up to 36 axes (4 robots + external axes), 60,000 steps / 10,000 instructions, built-in Ethernet, an integrated PLC and Yaskawa’s Advanced Robot Motion (ARM) for high-accuracy path control. Multiple communication protocols simplify integration with PLCs, IO devices and line-control systems.

Welding source — Fronius TPS4000

One of the proven Fronius platforms for industrial MIG/MAG: stable arc, repeatable parameters and broad consumable compatibility. Ideal for steel and stainless workpieces in fabrication, automotive and heavy industries.

Positioner — Double-End Sky Hook (R2L 500/1200)

Twin-station L-shape tilting positioner — 500 kg per side. The pendulum design keeps a fixed safety zone around the robot while the operator fixtures the next part on the opposite side, giving you near-continuous arc time without heavy custom integration.
